  • Short plant description of HU392 in culture

  • Diameter of the culture plant is 14 cm. Plant height without cephalium is 8 cm.  The colour of the epidermis is green. Number of ribs is 12. Number of the oval areoles per rib is 5 on plants with cephalium.  The number of strong radial spines downwards is 5, somewhat curved, length up to 3 cm. Upwards a few little spines. The colour of the spines is cream/brown with darker tips.  The colour of the cephalium is cream/white with brown/red   bristles.  The colour of the fruit is pinkish/white.  The position of the stigma is half-way up the secondary stamens.

Diameter of this culture plant is ca 9 cm. 
Plant height without cephalium 6 cm. 
The colour of the epidermis is green. 
Number of ribs is 10. 
Number of areoles per rib is 6 on plants without cephalium. 
The shape of the areoles is round.
The number of radial spines is 6 to 7. 
De length of the spines is 0,5 to 1,5 cm. 
The shape of the spines is somewhat curled and the colour of this young cephalium is yellow/white.

The colour of the epidermis is gray/green. 
Number of ribs is 10. 
Number of areoles per rib is 6 on plants with cephalium. 
The shape of the areoles is round. 
The number of the strictly radial and a little bit recurved downwards spines is 5 and on the top of the areoles are few little spines. 
The length of the 5 spines is ca.2,5 cm. 
The colour of the spines is cream/gray. 
The colour of the young cephalium is white. 
The position of the stigma is at the primary stamens.
